This is a nice-looking, well-made tray. The leaf pattern mother-of-pearl inlay is quite pretty paired with the woven rattan. I’m curious what the white (black on the bottom) base material is, but there doesn’t seem to be any indication in the product description. I have to assume it’s some kind of plastic resin, but it doesn’t have a plasticky feel.
Make sure you are aware of the actual size of this item before ordering. Looking at the photo for the first time, my brain scaled the whole thing assuming the handles were big enough for adult hands. I imagined it was 16 to 18 inches in diameter, but was surprised when I saw in the description that it’s less than a foot in diameter (300 mm). Currently, the tray is being used as a decorative platform under a potted houseplant.

This tray is so unique and pretty! The mother of pearl details are unexpected and compliment the rattan very beautifully. Hawaiian tropical vibes for sure. I am using it hold my fruit on my counter, as that is what will be most useful to me at the moment. This would make a lovely gift for a hostess with the mostess!

Mine would look really nice, but it arrived significantly warped/bent.

The tray is well handmade with vintage design, it makes my place very cozy and the color is so easy to match with any room. The tray is big enough for my coffee trays, or front door key tray. The rattan handle is a nice touch. The tray feel solid and well-constructed. It has a sturdy frame to ensure it can hold weight without sagging or bending.

This inlaid tray is very pretty. The soft green of the dyed shell slices go quite well with the rattan. It’s also very sturdy as a tray and basket.
However, and this is why I took off stars, mine had two chipped inlay leaves. I’ve shown those areas in my photos. I understand the handmade nature and look, but the thickness of the veneer should be increased so this doesn’t happen. I can’t tell if the leaves chipped while they were being cut, or if something else was stacked on top of it that broke them. One is slightly rough to the touch, which is how I realized the material of the shell was paper thin. So it may have the title “mosaic,” but these are papery thin pieces.
I will probably use it as a decorative coffee tray instead of a fruit tray. I do not want a porous surface to leech into food. But it is so pretty! Sigh.

This is a really beautiful serving tray with a multitude of possible uses. Other than that, it is quite a handsome creation. The wicker work surround is tight and very nicely done. I intend using my for serving scotch in a crystal decanter along with crystal glasses for serving. Nice work by the artisans. I love it!

Pretty but not great quality had for a week and the wicker has already came undone and started to unravel Guess if worse comes to worse then I can just use the Mosaic plate for a candle.
