The basket is woven very fine wicker and I think the ears and handle are made of rattan. The eyes are glass.

Very good condition. I don’t see any frayscto the wicker, cracks etc. this just has normal age wear appropriate for something made in the 1970s

The “made in the people’s Republic of China” sticker is still on the bottom.

This was probably sold at Pier One or a similar import store in the 70s before Pier One became more high end.
