How to Care for Your Vintage Etienne Aigner Wicker Rattan Handbag

  1. Gentle Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away any dust or dirt. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the delicate wicker and rattan.
  2. Storage: Store your handbag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Stuff the bag with tissue paper to maintain its shape and prevent the wicker from collapsing.
  3. Handling: Avoid overfilling the bag, as this can strain the wicker frame. Be mindful of sharp objects that could scratch or snag the rattan.

Keeping Your Wicker Treasure in Pristine Condition

  1. Avoid Moisture: Wicker and rattan are susceptible to moisture damage, so avoid exposing your handbag to rain or humidity.
  2. Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the bag for any loose or broken wicker strands. If you notice any damage, consult a professional specializing in wicker repair.
  3. Professional Cleaning: For stubborn stains or deep cleaning, consider taking your handbag to a professional cleaner specializing in vintage accessories.

A vintage rare 1960’s Etienne Aigner wicker rattan handmade handbag purse is more than just an accessory; it’s a piece of history, a work of art, and a timeless investment. Its unique charm and enduring style make it a treasure to be cherished for years to come.
