We keep them close to the plates so that they are easy to grab especially when we use paper plates and need to protect the counters and tables. They look gorgeous when we set them up on our eight person table so they are great for decorations. A word of caution that there is a strong odor when you initially open them. Just let them air out for a day and you won’t notice it anymore.
