Bought this in July and only in Late September did my cat start to use it and sleep in it. Our male cat got in it on day 1 and rolled in it once I put catnip in there, but he left after a couple of minutes and never returned to it. Our shy female cat would only put one or two paws on it to grab whatever food I was using to lure her onto it. Finally now she lounges in it. I like to use it outside when it’s wet because she can’t bask on the wet deck so this is a nice dry surface for her. I just cover the feet so they don’t get wet because it is wood so it would totally get mouldy and dirty without some protection.
The fabric is pretty but it attracts their fur like there’s no tomorrow, I need to use a lint brush to clean it up which is fine !

Ordered two, the arrow and the blue cat patterns. One cat sat nearby while I was getting them out of packaging and putting together. While it was a close toss-up between the hammock and the box they came in, it didn’t take even a minute before the cat was in it and lounging. Easy to assemble, although I agree that some of the precut holes are a bit snug for the rod end to fit in. A little wrestling but doable.

I’ve bought dozens of different beds for my cats that they never use. They both always want to be on their hammock by the window so I bought another. They are durable and the fabric is easy to wash and air dry. They fit perfectly over the heater vent deflectors so it’s an bonus that they are also no longer able to sleep on the vents preventing the heat from getting into the house!

Cute and assembly is easy, it does easily get lopsided and needs to be straightened out whenever I pick it up. I usually store this away or move it so it is annoying needing to fix it each time, it’s because of the wooden legs I think because the sticks don’t fit that snug in the holes. If they pop out it’s also a lot harder to fix since the cloth is working against me when I’m trying to push the sticks back in. But the cat likes it and that’s what I mostly care about! The pattern is cute and the cloth is durable and is a good thickness. It’s also soft! I was a afraid it might get easily damaged by cat claws but he has scratched at it and it’s all good so it’s durable. It’s also nice that you can take this apart and wash the cloth if needed. It doesn’t have much weight to it so if it’s outside when windy it can get moved but very easy to store. Since you can take it apart and put it back together it won’t take up space storing it away either.
