Asian-inspired, Mid-Century Modern gold divided tray is signed by the prolific
designer Ernest Sohn. The tray has a gold-painted textured back and gold-painted
bamboo stalks and leaves on the front for a multidimensional look. The teak
handles are deep brown, with one of the handles missing a small piece toward
the underside. There are 4 felt discs on the back of the tray. This lovely
divided tray is in beautiful vintage condition, but does have a few minor areas
on the back where the gold paint has flecked off. These spots are only noticeable
if you hold the tray up to the light. The tray weighs 1 pound 15.8 ounces, and measures
19” from handle to handle. The glass itself is 17″ long by 8 ¾” wide, with a
height of 1 3/8”, rising up to 2” at he top of the handles.
