This is a fabulous vintage Rattan Vase made in Shanghai. Google is about 50/50 on this vase, being a  squirrel or a beaver. Regardless, it has a very intricate pattern with  multiple textures.

It is tightly woven with different types of rattan or cane. The tail was woven around a glass vase to hold your flowers for you. In my research, this pattern was made from 1930 – 1970. it

Measures 9″ tall x 5″ across x 3″ wide. The vase has an opening diameter of 1½” and is 7½” tall. This vase is in excellent condition. Please see the pictures as they are part of the description.
